Location

Rainbow Rock is located on the Southern Oregon coast along Highway 101, just a few miles north of Brookings. It is a short distance to the Redwood Forests of Northern California. Well known for the safest small craft harbor on the Oregon coast, fishing has always played a role in Brookings area tourism. The region is also an important center for lumber and agriculture and ninety-percent of Easter Lilies are grown here. Brookings is also home to a beautiful golf course in a forested setting.

Climate

Known as Oregon's Banana Belt, the climate is mild year round. Winter-blooming flowers abound!
